About HB Longbone and Son

Hello and thank you for your interest in us.

We are a 3rd generation, family firm started in 1946. For nearly 70 years, we have traded from our shops in Berwick-upon-Tweed in the beautiful borderland between England and Scotland.

We sell Carpets, Rugs, Ready-Made Curtains, Made-to-Measure Curtains, Curtain Fabric, Net Curtains and Voiles, Blinds, Bed Linens and Household Textiles. We also have an extensive range of the items that provide the little touches to finish a home, eg cushions, placemats, glasses, candles, etc.

We offer a full measuring, planning, estimating, fitting and delivery service for all domestic and contract jobs within a 30-mile radius of Berwick-upon-Tweed. If you live just outside that area, please contact us and we will see what we can do.

In global terms, we are a small company – the opposite from today’s mega-sized, multi-national giants. If you phone us, and please do if you wish to ask about anything (01289 307534), you won’t get a ‘press this or that button machine’ but a real, actual human being. We are open 9 am to 5 pm, Mondays to Saturdays.

Our staff are all long-serving and knowledgeable in their own fields; if they can’t help, then they will take your number and someone WILL get back to you.
