HB Longbone aims for customer satisfaction. When you place an order with us, you can do so confidently. The following terms and conditions apply.

When you use the Longbone.co.uk website, you are agreeing to be bound by and comply with the following terms and conditions. This agreement does not affect your statutory rights. The content of the Longbone.co.uk website is subject to change without customer/user notice. No warranty or guarantee of the information and products is provided by Longbone.co.uk or any third parties. Your use of any purchase from this website is entirely at your own risk and Longbone.co.uk cannot be liable; you must bear the risks which are associated with use of the internet and internet retail. Unauthorised use of our website is a criminal offence and any offender shall be prosecuted by the law. These Terms and Conditions, along with your use of this website, are governed by English Law and as such you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English Court. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you would like to know more about your statutory rights as a consumer, you may wish to consult your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau.

We may change these terms and our prices from time to time without notice to users and customers. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders you place.

Payment

Please pay for your order using PayPal. This provides you with a secure, PCI-regulated payment portal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still use PayPal using your debit or credit card. All transactions are in £ Sterling (GBP).

You card is charged the full amount at the point of sale. An order is accepted once it has been shipped. No contract is entered into until this point.

Your Data

We will not store data other than that which we require.

We will NEVER pass your details on to any other individual or company.

We will not store your Card details.

The information collected by HB Longbone when you register with us on our website is generally used to communicate with you and improve our services where possible or to enable third parties to carry out technical or commercial supporting functions. These third parties are bound by Data Protection covenants and must process the personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Laws of England.

VAT

All prices are inclusive of British sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. If you wish to order from a non-UK country, please contact us.

Cancellation

If you should need to cancel an order, contact us either by telephone (01289 307534) or by e-mail (info@longbone.co.uk).

Availability

All goods are offered subject to availability. We cannot be held responsible for products that become discontinued. Delivery dates are estimates only and time of delivery is not the essence of the contract. We try to deliver the goods by the stated delivery date but may suspend or delay delivery and we will try to let you know as soon as possible if any item is out of stock or discontinued.

If you order a product that has been discontinued yet is inadvertently still available to buy on our site, we will get in touch as soon as possible to sort out a refund or a replacement item and adjusting payment required.

Multi-buy Discounts

Multi-buy discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Product Reproduction

We have made every effort to ensure that colour reproduction of images and product text descriptions are as accurate as possible; however, variations may occur due to shades displaying differently on different computer monitors. Please note that photographs are for representational purposes only and are not necessarily to scale.

Consequential Loss

HB Longbone will not be liable for any consequential loss whether this arises from breach of duty in contract or any other way. Liability for any claim shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Products

All sizes are approximate. Curtains are sold by the pair. Voiles and sheer curtains are sold as single curtains. Curtain measurements are always width first, then drop (height). With made-to-measure or altered curtain orders, please ensure your measurements are correct as these cannot be returned. All fabrics are susceptible to some shrinkage and colour loss with cleaning and the passage of time. You accept and agree that this is reasonable as part of the terms and conditions.

Extracts from the site may be forwarded to third parties solely for personal use and recommendations.

 

GDPR Statement – May 2018

Purchasing from our site means we will hold the contact details you have provided. We DO NOT hold any debit/credit/PayPal information. The information you have provided will only be used to service your order and comply with the record retention requirements of HMRC. It will NOT be passed to any third party.

If you do not wish us to hold this information, please e-mail me (Bryon@longbone.co.uk) and, once your order has been completed, your details will be redacted. If you do take this option, we will not be able to help you with any back-up enquiries relating to your order, eg ‘I bought a bath mat from you, can I get a matching pedestal one?’ or ‘How do I care for the product I bought from you?’ To be blunt, we will not know what you are talking about!

Signing up for our newsletter is optional. If you do sign up for the newsletter, your information will only be used to send you relevant news from the shop, promotions, special offers, etc. At any time, you can opt out of receiving our newsletters.
